LITTLE SIMZ VISUALISED 2014
IDEA CONCEPTION, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND EVENT PRODUCTION
To launch her debut album Little Simz wanted to do something different and innovative. Melissa worked with her team to develop the idea of working with University of the Arts London on a collaborative exhibition to explore the album, culminating in an intimate live show.
Melissa worked with Little Simz to develop a concept that would work for her as a creative independent artist. She came up with an idea of how to work with and inspire young art students. Working with UAL to build a partnership and developing a brief that students responded to. Art Students work was then selected by Simz and was exhibited for a week in the Red Bull Studios Exhibition space, ending in a live performance from Little Simz and surprise guest Stormzy.
