Addicted to Superga

For about a year now I have been addicted to Superga Trainers.  The Italian shoe company came onto my radar after Alexa Chung was involved in their campaign last summer.

After having owned some Keds a couple of years ago and finding them really uncomfortable I was after some trainers that I could wear all day every day and that were a little bit different to the standard Converse and Vans which are now everywhere you turn.

Superga are becoming a bigger and bigger brand every month, and they are currently doing collaborations with Rita Ora, Giles Deacon and House of Holland – some of the designs are pretty cool.  They are glamming up the simple plimsole and with the whole 90s revival trainers are the shoe of the moment.

What I love about Superga is that they come in half sizes, which nowadays is hard to find.  Also they are simple and the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned and that is saying something!  In a dream world I would own them in every colour…. imagine.

So with the news of their summer sale I was straight on to their website ordering some new kicks to replace my completely trashed old pair.

A huge trend this summer has been yellow, and I was drawn to their Fluro Yellow 2750 Cotu Classic. How amazing are these!

And I couldn’t just stop there, I thought I needed some for a more toned down look and these 1705 Cotu Pink were just the thing.

Check out their website, or they now have a store off of London’s Carnaby street.
