On Saturday Warehouse were holding a free event for budding photographers and bloggers to pop down to Brick Lane and have a few treats – Warehouse Fashion Shooters. Based at the Old Truman Brewery, Warehouse had taken over the space and filled it with pampering points and fashion perks. There was an Elle Style lounge where you could try on Warehouse’s Spring/Summer Collection as well as a Toni and Guy Hair station and Wah Nails Bar. They put on what looked like such a stylish event – perfect for all the bloggers to take some great arty snaps and some well thought about selfies.
UAL had taken part in a competition for the event to come up with an exhibition of instagram photos – which looked pretty impressive.
My friends and I aren’t ones for queueing but we tried out a few of the free things that they had to offer. We made our own little flip book which was pretty awkward but a little bit of hungover fun.
We also obviously were straight up there for the free food! Apparently the food was inspired by instagram filters…
We did attempt to queue for the station where you could design your own t-shirt – pretty cool for a free event. However the queue defeated us, and we had to give up in order to make the most of the rest of our day.
The Elle Style Lounge and Bloggers Chill Area looked pretty cool, I was loving the pastel colours!
We managed to have a pretty good afternoon, even though it was pretty busy – we love a freebie!
