Superimpose: Event Producer & Project Manager
Melissa was hired by Creative Agency Superimpose to Event Produce and Project Manage an event to launch Stormzy’s collaboration with Adidas.
Melissa helped with developing the creative concept of the event and then project managed and produced it working alongside a production partner and in line with adidas’ needs.
The activation was a full day takeover in London focused at giving back to London’s Youth. Stormzy and Mo the Comedian surprised 4 colleges in the 4 corners of London hosting a student assembly to advise and inspire students with their creative goals.
The students were then taken on a surprise trip to an immersive show curated by Stormzy for adidas. For this show we sourced the next generation of creative talent across London: a gospel choir, a BAME orchestra, drama students and street dancers and briefed them to rework a Stormzy track. We then worked with them curating an immersive experience inspired by Stormzy but supporting London’s young creatives.
