CREATIVE EVENT producer
Melissa was hired by Warm Street to event produce a sound system at Notting Hill Carnival for Wray & Nephew to celebrate 60 years of Jamaican Independence. Starting as the only event producer on this project only 6 weeks from Notting Hill Carnival, Melissa had to recruit a supporting team, work to tight deadlines and budgets to produce a free event for 5000 people as part of Notting Hill Carnival, the biggest event Wray & Nephew had ever done.
Working directly with Wray & Nephew to creatively develop their brand aesthetic at Notting Hill Carnival Melissa developed branding and set design for the event while working directly with the Notting Hill Carnival committee to ensure that the whole event production followed their guidelines, H&S procedures and Met Police requirements.
Artists performing included Kranium, Alicai Harley, Alison Hinds, Loyal Squad, Sian Anderson.
